Creatine, plainly: what is in the tub and how the label doses it

One ingredient, 5 g a day, no loading phase. What creatine monohydrate is, why ours is micronized, and why the gummies are tested for the creatine they claim.

Creatine is the product people come to with the most opinions attached. Somebody at the gym swears by a loading week; somebody online says it has to be taken at a precise minute after training. Our label is less exciting than either, on purpose. It says one scoop of 5 g of creatine monohydrate, once a day, with any drink.

What it is

Creatine is a compound your body makes and also gets from food, mostly meat and fish. Creatine monohydrate is the form that has been studied the longest, and it is the only form we sell. Our tub contains one ingredient. There is no flavor, no sweetener and no blend, which is why it goes into water, coffee, a protein shake or your Daily Greens without changing the taste.

Why micronized

Micronized means the powder is milled finer. It does not change what creatine is; it changes how it mixes. Finer particles stay suspended longer and leave less grit at the bottom of the glass, which matters if you take it every day for months.

The dose on the label

The label direction is 5 g a day. It does not include a loading phase, a period of taking several times that amount at the start, and we do not recommend one. Consistency is the habit the label is built around. Many people find it easiest to tie it to something they already do every day, like the morning coffee or the post-training shake.

Format One day at the label dose A container lasts
Creatine Monohydrate (powder) One 5 g scoop 60 days
Creatine Gummies Three gummies (1.67 g each) 30 days
The Performance Stack One 5 g scoop The tub ships every second box

Why the gummies are tested every lot

A gummy is the hardest format to dose. Creatine has to be held in pectin, the batch has to set evenly, and heat in transit can fuse gummies together. Every lot of our Creatine Gummies is tested for the amount of creatine it claims, and the result is published with the rest. Right now they are sold out, and we do not have a confirmed restock date to share; the powder is in stock.

The practical questions

  • Clumping: creatine draws moisture in humid kitchens. Break soft clumps up with the dry scoop and keep the desiccant in the tub.
  • The scoop: it often settles to the bottom of the tub in transit. Dig with a clean spoon before you decide it is missing.
  • Caffeine: there is none. The Clean Pre-Workout is the only Aurevo product with caffeine.
  • Who it is for: the label says adults 18 and over. If you take a medication or manage a medical condition, talk to your doctor first.

If you want to know what creatine will do for you specifically, the honest answer is that we cannot tell you. We can tell you exactly what is in the tub, how much of it, and what the lab found in the lot you are holding.
